For my first Music entry, I’m putting in someone most people don’t even know I like. He’s got a beautiful timber to his voice and he’s been around a long time. He improved so much as he got older, it’s unbelievable. Just watch.
Tony Joe White
My very favorite BLUES… ERIC CLAPTON…….
One of the most beautiful versions of this song I have ever heard: K.D. LANG after she found himself:
This is considered to be his greatest song EVER. GEORGE JONES: He Stopped Loving Her Today
I didn’t know this song when it first came out, but please listen to the words. it is very philisophical:
THE INFAMOUS STONES>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>MY FAVORITES:
And now, in tribute to my fallen Scotland and Wales ancestors who came to this land to fight our way and became my fmily:
We all love this one: Fathers and Sons
My Dad ask for a specific song, and I found two versions: one that would be a version that I would like, which I will play for your first:
This is “Take Your Burden to the Lord and Leave it There” by Teak Wood Gallows. The second version is one that my Dad would like and one that
I would have grown up with by the Statesmen Quartet. Let me know which one You like:
This was performed in the train station after only two live rehearsals. Now telll me there isn’t still music in the world. Watch the looks of amazement on the faces of the people.
