I thought I was through with the hiding and lying

The sneaks in the drinks, the tiptoes in the dark

You know the ones, where you wake up suddenly

Wondering what is wrong, and just why he is sighing

When you ask for a drink of the drink in his hand

Thinking a soda would be nice and is easy for him to share

A normal thing, in fact, to share food and drink, with each other

As a matter of fact, it’s so normal, the thought was bland.

And you know.  It was a bland thought until he hesitated

Hmm, then all the bells in my body went off like Big Ben

He’s lying, I know it, he knows it, but only one of us know why

The intuition is strong, even when I was asleep and now I am aggravated.

Damn I hate that,, the sleep was more important,  don’t want to know

or even to know that I know.. But there is that damn psst. The pop-top

Tells on him every time. But that wasn’t it, the damn top woke me like thunder

It was the hesitation when I asked for a drink that set the nerves tingling head to toe,

Clink, clink

He thought I was asleep, turned off the light, even, to check to see if I would notice

and honestly, I didn’t , so good show, Joe, and a good trick this time.

I did get some sleep I needed so badly this night,  it’s 2.45 am, I got a whole 3 hours

Much more than my normal amount of sleep, usually I sleep less than the prairie lotus

And just as my heavy eye -lids start to fall, dreaming of the beautiful red of the lotus, prairie or no,            BANG,  on with  the TV again.  Sleep is gone for tonight.  Take notice.

You  (to my friend) wrote about seeing Paris and that forever after, it is always with you as a “moveable feast”. It has been a while since I read that passage but I have never forgotten it. I have been to Paris and to London,Rome, Moscow and the Volgo River, and the thing that stands out about the lot of them all as a group is that they are “moveable feasts”. They all are. At any moment, I can close my eyes, and see the beautiful, the ugly, the interesting, the boring, the trains, the planes, the experience.

If I never do anything else ever again, I will always have my own “moveable feast”. Thank you for reminding me.

Gabriel

“Strength of God”; “The Divine is my strength”; “God is my strength” The only Archangel depicted as female in art and literature, Gabriel is known as the “messenger” Angel. She is a powerful and strong Archangel, and those who call upon her will find themselves pushed into action that leads to beneficial results. Gabriel helps hopeful parents with conception or through the process of adopting a child. Gabriel is helpingto open your third eye if it’s closed and your spiritual vision is therefore blocked. If you wish to receive visions of Angelic guidance regarding the direction you are going in. If you wish to receive prophecies of the changes ahead. If you need help in interpreting your dreams and vision. Gabriel helps anyone whose life purpose involves the arts or communication. She acts as a coach, inspiring and motivating artists, journalist and communicators and helping them to overcome fear and procrastination. Gabriel also helps us to find our true calling. Ask for Gabriel’s guidance if you have strayed from your soul’s pathway, if you wish to understand your life plan and purpose. She can also help if you can find no reason for being or if changes are ahead and you need guidance. Gabriel is helping your body if it’s full of toxins and needs purifying and if your thoughts are impure or negative and need clearing and cleansing. Gabriel is also very helpful for women who have been raped or sexually assaulted and feel dirty as well as being under psychic attack or if you feel that you have absorbed someone else’s problems. Brings message that our sexuality is connected not only with body but also with soul. Is a sacred gift. Teaches that you have a holy law to deattach from people that bring negative energy to you by saynig NO.

Maybe reading this will spur your imagination? Check it out.

Below link written by Tim Hayes:

Teaching Composition: The Teaching Persona:

*etymological roots of “persona” — which actually means “mask”

The mask permits the poet to say things that for various reasons she could not say in her own person or could say only with a loss of artistic detachment; it permits the poet to explore various perspectives without making an ultimate commitment; it is a means for creating, discovering, or defining the self; it prevents the poet from being hurt by self-exposure or being led astray by the limitations of her own vision; it is a means for expressing anxieties and frustrations, or ideals that the poet may not be able to realize in her own life but to which she is committed….

Think about this and you might understand poets a lot moor.

‘…INBEAT GLOBAL MOVEMENT…’
THANKS AND WELCOME TO INTERNATIONAL BEAT ( ‘…INBEAT…’ ) !!!
+ ‘…When people are dancing and dining together, they are not fighting against each other…’
Think of ‘…INBEAT…’(International Beat) (www.myspace.com/1inbeat1) as being a Global Community that belongs to all of its Members… Just like an Internet based United Nations. It will be used as a mechanism for addressing some of the present and future Global Challenges through the timely introduction of ‘Precisioned Initiatives’ that the Community can execute. Because of the ‘precisioned’ attributes of the ‘Envisioned Initiatives’, they would invariably be less costly and more effective than prevailing “programs”. Why, you may ask? : Simply because the Initiatives will be coming from their ‘…Source Of Origin…’.
A Number of Initiatives have been started that people could work on collectively. One of them was espoused by Ms. Jah Jah ( www.myspace.com/mcjahjah ) in 2008. She suggested doing a Community Album of Songs on saving trees. This has since given impetus for the start of the INBEAT GLOBAL SONGS INITIATIVE ( www.myspace.com/inbeatsongs ), which serves as a one-stop-shop for Songs’ Writing/Music Production. One caveat though: Songs that debase women and ethnicities shall not be tolerated within ‘…INBEAT…’(International Beat). In this regard, people should check out Ms. Meru’s ( www.myspace.com/merumatu ) song “…Don’t Talk About Mi Mama…”, which is cautionary. Other ‘…Initiatives…’ include, but not limited to, Hemispheric Health and Wellness( www.myspace.com/inbeathealth ), Travel and Lodging(work in progress), INBEAT Global Cookbook ( www.myspace.com/inbeatcookbooks ), INBEAT Global Poetry Initiative(
www.myspace.com/inbeatpoetry
), and The INBEAT Global Life Journey Book Initiative(www.myspace.com/inbeatlife), and The INBEAT Help-Line Initiative for INBEAT Members ( www.myspace.com/inbeathelp ). People are encouraged to check these INBEAT Communities. Just about all the Communities have income-earning mechanisms/empowerment for Members. Furthermore, voice has been given to the ‘…INBEAT GLOBAL MOVEMENT…’ by way of the INBEAT BLOGTALK RADIO ( http://www.blogtalkradio.com/INTERNATIONAL-BEAT- ) that was set up through the dedicated efforts of Ms. Kat Solomon(inbeatpoetry@myspce.com).
In effect, the INBEAT Communities are taking a departure from the typical social networks’ agenda that leave a lot to be desired in some cases. The Communities aspire to actually accomplish concrete objectives with its Membership.
Let me introduce myself:
My name is E.N. and my background is in Architecture, Urban and Regional Strategic Planning.

Cheers and stay strong!
