You (to my friend) wrote about seeing Paris and that forever after, it is always with you as a “moveable feast”. It has been a while since I read that passage but I have never forgotten it. I have been to Paris and to London,Rome, Moscow and the Volgo River, and the thing that stands out about the lot of them all as a group is that they are “moveable feasts”. They all are. At any moment, I can close my eyes, and see the beautiful, the ugly, the interesting, the boring, the trains, the planes, the experience.
If I never do anything else ever again, I will always have my own “moveable feast”. Thank you for reminding me.
