This is something very exciting for me, as it involves many of my very own personal interests and benefits the members of society who might need it the most.  Please read carefully the following missive and if you are interested or if it applies to you in any way, CONTACT ME in the form provided below.  We are moving very fast.  I invite any other bloggers to reblog at will without fear of reprisal.  Now without further explanation:

…INBEAT GLOBAL HEALTH INITIATIVES…’

The topic and concerns of Health and Wellness have constituted the focus of some Members of the International Beat(‘…INBEAT…’) Community since 1993. INBEAT Members that have been reading INBEAT Blogs and Postings since 2008 would readily agree that the same topic has been discussed severally since early 2008. More focus has been brought to this same topic by virtue of the currently ongoing U.S.A. National Health Care Legislation process that started in January, 2009.

Ideologically, INBEAT views Comprehensive Health as a National/Global Necessity and Priority, much in the manner of National/Civil Defense, Foreign Affairs, National Interstate Highways,  National Hurricane Emergency Preparedness, Police/Fire Services, and/or National Aeronuatics(e.g., NASA). IT HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH WHETHER A PERSON IS A CAPITALIST, OR A SOCIALIST! NOR SHOULD IT HAVE ANTHING TO DO WITH BEING A DEMOCRAT OR A REPUBLICAN! (‘…He that breathes air wears neither a capitalist hat, nor a socialist one…’). The potentials for Global Pandemics make this mandatory. Though investments in National Health have the potentials for economic development impacts and multipliers, it is nevertheless, first and foremost a Public Service for Public Good, and not an endeavor in which private-sector profit maximization should be the primary driver and focus. It is for this reason that most Countries in the World, including the Developing ones that have limited resource base, share this Comprehensive Health Care Mindset.

In pursuance, INBEAT has developed a Myspace Webpage (www.myspace.com/inbeathealth) that would focus on ‘…INBEAT HEALTH INITIATIVES…’. The charge of this INBEAT Community will be to marshall advocacies for Global Health And Wellness, as well as map out strategies for delivering Envisioned Health And Wellness Initiatives. One of the Communities’ first tasks, will be to set up a framework for Standardizing Certification Testing and Board/s for Medical Personnel within the Continents as to enable them easily and readily work across borders when their services are needed by a host Country and/or Region. This would ultimately help address Medical Staffing Shortages through viable and timely supply and demand mechanisms within Hemispheric Regions.

As earlier stated, The Community aspires to actually accomplish concrete objectives with its Membership. One of those Objectives would be to establish THE INBEAT GLOBAL FUND. The FUND shall be used for: 1) Members Capacity Building and Empowerment; 2) Establishing A Community Bank for Members for Revolving Loans; 3) Establishing A Social Safety Net Infrastructure for Members (Including Self-Sustainable Health Insurance Fund for Members that need it); Establishing Affordable Travel and Lodging Capacity/Infrastructure For Members; Core Administrative Funding and etc.

Your Fellow INBEAT Member, Ms. Gemma (www.myspace.com/inbeathealth)(inbeathealth@myspace
.com
) will serve as the Core Staff Person for this Initiative. She will be joined by others in due course.

Thanks and be well!

This 19 year old ex-cheerleader (now an Air Force Security Forces Sniper) was watching a road that led to a NATO military base when she observed a man digging by the road. She engaged the target (i.e., she shot him). It turned out he was a bomb maker for the Taliban, and he was burying an IED that was to be detonated when a US patrol walked by 30 minutes later. It would have certainly killed and wounded several soldiers.

The interesting fact of this story is the shot was measured at 725 yards. She shot him as he was bent over burying the bomb. The shot went through his butt and into the bomb which detonated; he was blown to pieces. The Air Force made a motivational poster of her:

A Female Snipter

A Female Snipter

(Folks, that’s a shot 25 yards longer than seven football fields!)

And the last thing that came out of his mouth … was his ass!

In God We Trust:

Al Gore, Bill Clinton and Barack Obama go to heaven,

God addresses Al Gore first. ”Al, what do you believe in?”

Al replies, “Well, I believe that I won that election, but it was
your will that I didn’t serve.

I’ve come to understand that now.”

God thinks for a second and says:
“Very good. Come and sit at my left.”

God then addresses Bill Clinton. “Bill, what do you believe in?”

Bill replies: “I believe in forgiveness.  I’ve sinned, but I’ve
never held a grudge against my fellow man, and I hope no grudges are held against me.”

God thinks for a second and says: “You are forgiven, my son. Come
and sit at my right.”

Then God finally addresses Barack Obama.  “Barack, what do you believe in?”

He replies, “I believe you’re in my chair!!

Response to letter from the Joint Chief’s of Taxation:

Where in the Constitution does it mandate personal care as a law? In realty the Constitution specifically states that unless the power to do something is explicitly provided for in the Constitution it is left to the States or the People.  I am saddened beyond words that the fabric of our great country has been unraveled by ignorance.  We are held captive by partisan politics where two parties like huge corporate giants are lining their pockets and selling us down the river.

America is has been the strongest economy on the planet.  We have given billions in aid to countries around the world.  We have led the way for other nations on human rights, rights of women, education, health, transportation, manufacturing, technology, construction, energy and I am sure I have missed a few things.

This is big government trying to assure itself of greater revenues in the future.  First in was a direct income tax on civilians.  Now that they have spent all that money (wisely?); they want more from us so they can mandate our healthcare.

When they have spent that money (wisely?); what will they ask for next?  It is time for the American people to say no to run away government spending.  Revoke their credit cards and cancel their credit rating.  Layoff their overpaid executives at government run corporations and try to turn a profit.  I shopped a government jobs site this week, they pay incredibly good salaries.  I wonder how many of them have to live on a normal mans working salary?

Its your money what are you waiting for?

Ensign receives handwritten confirmation

This doesn’t happen often enough.

Sen. John Ensign (R-Nev.) received a handwritten note Thursday from Joint Committee on Taxation Chief of Staff Tom Barthold confirming the penalty for failing to pay the up to $1,900 fee for not buying health insurance.

Violators could be charged with a misdemeanor and could face up to a year in jail or a $25,000 penalty, Barthold wrote on JCT letterhead. He signed it “Sincerely, Thomas A. Barthold.”

The note was a follow-up to Ensign’s questioning

The Next Phase… Sept. 15, 2009 + ‘…Though often mistaken for the other, confidence in self and others is not arrogance…’ Circa-2000 + So much potential exists for effecting positive change, but said change for the better does not happen in its own accord. + The process of effectuating change is in stages: problem identification, analysis, synthesis, planning, and then implementation… Humans tend to be primarily pre-occupied with the problem identification and analysis stages, to the exclusion of the rest… And this is precisely why solvable problems persist, and get revisited over and over again. While these mentioned first two stages tend to offer temporary venting relief for identified issues, they do not usher permanent sustainable solutions that begin to address the identified problems. + It is, thus, time for all and sundry to consider moving to the next phase as a ‘…Global Community…’ + Thanks to ‘…INBEAT Citizens…’: quote by E.N. of INBEAT and international organization.

A Holy man was having a conversation with the Lord one day and said,
‘Lord, I would like to know what Heaven and Hell are like.’

The Lord led the holy man to two doors.

He opened one of the doors and the holy man looked in.

In the middle of the room was a large round table..
In the middle of the table was a large pot of stew,
which smelled delicious and made the holy man’s mouth water.
The people sitting around the table were thin and sickly.
They appeared to be famished. They were holding spoons with very long
handles that were strapped to their arms and each found it possible to
reach into the pot of stew and take a spoonful.
But because the handle was longer than their arms,
they could not get the spoons back into their mouths.
The holy man shuddered at the sight of their misery and suffering.
The Lord said, ‘You have seen Hell. They went to the next room and
opened the door. It was exactly the same as the first one.
There was the large round table with the large pot of stew which made
the holy man’s mouth water.
The people were equipped with the same long-handled spoons, but here
the people were well nourished and plump,   laughing and talking.
The holy man said, ‘I don’t understand..
‘It is simple,’ said the Lord. ‘It requires but one skill.
You see, they have learned to feed each other.
The greedy think only of themselves.’
When Jesus died on the cross, he was thinking of you.
Its estimated 93% won’t forward this.

If you are one of the 7% who will, forward this with the title ’7%’ .

I’m in the 7%

Remember that

I will always share my  spoon with you

The election is over. It is time to repair friendships with the other party. Governor Sarah Palin is doing her part to do just that.

The rest of the world cannot understand how, after bitter election campaigns, American politicians can kiss and make-up.

For instance, Gov. Palin has invited, to her great state of Alaska, the men who defeated her, Barack Obama and Joe Biden, along with their wives. She has set up a moose hunting trip for their enjoyment and hired three prominent experts in their field to assist them.

Dick Cheney will carry the gun, Ted Kennedy will drive them back to their cabins each evening, and Bill Clinton will entertain their wives.

Sarah is such a sport and thinks of everything!

JESUS LAUGHING! (I like to think he did.   c)

When friends went to a seminary in Florida last March, they saw an artist paint huge works (the size of a door) in 30-45 minutes.. The artist prefers anonymity and says he wants the works to speak for themselves. Look carefully and see the drawings were signed, ‘Jesus Painter.’

Christ laughing! A concept I hadn’t seen before. Beautiful pencil drawings.

Look at the signature.

Look at the signature.

WASHINGTON - AUGUST 3: Senator John Cornyn (...

An Open Letter to Senator John Cornyn and all other Members of Congress

By: John Kozy | Posted: May 16th, 2009

On Friday, May 15, 2009, Senator John Cornyn sent an update to his constituents the gist of which is this: “I believe harnessing the ingenuity and competitiveness of the American people to create more options for patients through the fair market is the best way to spur innovation, keep prices competitive and quality high.” Senator Cornyn is one of these Republican true believers who knows what he believes but never checks to facts to see if what he believes is true.

Senator Cornyn, as a member of Congress, has government run and subsidized health care which includes prescription drug benefits along with a government run and subsidized retirement plan. The yearly income of Congressmen exceeds $174,000 which is automatically increased annually for inflation. So I would ask Mr. Cornyn and all of his fellow Congressman, can’t you afford medical insurance provided by a private company? And if so, why don’t you buy it? If not, how do you expect your constituents earning twenty, thirty, forty, and even fifty thousand dollars a year to afford it? And why have you created your own publicly funded retirement plan? Can’t you afford regular contributions to 401Ks? If you can, why did you create a government run and subsidized plan for yourselves? And if you can’t, why do you think that your constituents can? Why are such plans good enough for members of Congress but not good enough for your constituents? If government plans are expensive and wasteful, why aren’t the government run plans for your benefit expensive and wasteful?

Senator, isn’t the current American health care system based on private companies competing in the marketplace? It hasn’t yet spurred innovation, kept prices competitive (whatever that means), and it hasn’t produced high quality health care. Why would continuing this dastardly system do these things? Senator, you yourself have written, “Congress recently began consideration of various proposals to reform health care – and our biggest challenge is to help make it more affordable. Health care costs have risen far faster than inflation in both good economic times and bad. Health care costs force many self-employed workers into the ranks of the uninsured.” Clearly, Senator, the marketplace has not worked. Your own statement proves it, so why are you defending it and attempting to continue it?

You write, “We must work to reduce the costs associated with providing quality care.” Then you write, “Reining in health care fraud, waste and abuse could save taxpayers up to $90 billion a year. Reducing lawsuit abuse is also necessary. Texas is a great example of a state that has seen reduced insurance premiums for providers as a result of reducing lawsuit abuse, while still protecting the real victims of medical negligence. A focus on wellness and prevention is also crucial to cutting the cost of health care. I recently introduced legislation with Sen. Tom Harkin, the Healthy Workforce Act, to make comprehensive wellness programs affordable for more small businesses. A new emphasis in the workplace on prevention and wellness will lower the costs businesses incur in providing health care for their employees (emphases mine).” But Senator, not one of the things mentioned lower the costs for patients.

Then you write, “A Washington-run health care system would mean less individual freedom to make our own health care decisions, including choosing our own doctors. I am concerned that a Washington takeover will deny care and delay treatment.” Oh, Senator, why chooses his own doctor? Many private insurers have lists of approved physicians. Often that’s not much of a choice. When you go to the Office of the Attending Physician, Senator, how many doctors do you get to choose from? Who makes his own health care decisions? A person gets sick, goes to a doctor, and the doctor makes the decisions. And have you not heard of insurance companies denying care ordered by physicians for their patients? And finally, Senator, how many choices do all those Americans have who lack access to the system? Do they choose their doctors when in the emergency room? Do they select the treatments they receive?

You correctly write, “Americans now spend twice as much per capita on health care than other industrialized nations, our massive investment has not led to higher quality care.” Tell me, Senator, why can’t we pay for universal, single payer, healthcare by merely diverting what we already spend to a single fund that pays providers directly for whatever treatment and procedure doctors prescribe, no questions asked? If other industrial nations can provide universal healthcare to all of their residents at half the cost of what we Americans pay, why can’t America provide the same coverage for twice what other nations pay? No new money is needed, Senator, to fix this broken system. Plenty of money is already being spent; it’s just being spent in the wrong places.

The truth, Senator, is that you and many others in the Congress don’t want to fix the system. You prefer that the sick and infirm just suffer and die. Their suffering and dying doesn’t cost you and those like you anything. You prefer to have corporate America get rich off of the suffering and death of your constituents, because corporate America funds your campaigns, bribing you to do its bidding rather than the bidding of your constituents.

Senator, I don’t believe that you believe any of the claptrap you write. You can’t be that dumb! But if you are, you certainly don’t belong in the U.S.Senate.
